Re-watching the original Beauty and the Beast....
My partner and I re-watched the original Beauty and the Beast before we watch the new live action version. I am a kid at heart and love a bit of Disney but, it has so many questions....
I am aware that some questions have been asked, such as the age of the Prince (Beast) when he was cursed.
Well these are my questions...
1, Is the castle far away or not? Belles dad needs a place to stay as he has been traveling for so long but everyone else can get there in a flash
2, why is Mrs Potts son a cup? Surely he will be a smaller tea pot.
3, The Beast aged from being 10 years old to an adult, so has Chip not aged or was he conceived when they were household items? Does that mean Chips dad was a cup? Whatever happened to his dad then?
4, why is there a bookshop in the village if Belle is the only person who reads.
5, Mrs Potts became a teapot, Cogsworth is a clock. Is this coincidence or were they given nicknames?
6, Chip is surely called Chip because he is a chipped cup. Does he have a disability in his human form and do people openly mock him for that? It's as bad as calling a wheel chair user wheels right?
